Hi there, my name is Charlie Thiel. My family and I moved to Bend in July of 2014, so we are total newbies to Central Oregon. We moved here from Charleston, SC, so we are. in fact, newbies to the Pacific Northwest. I would say that we have found where we belong. I cut my teeth in wedding photography in Charleston, the second biggest destination wedding market in the country. My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for over 15 years (woohoo!), and she (and our daughters) are the center of my personal universe, so getting to have the privilege of photographing other people who are joining their lives together gets right to the heart of why I believe photography and wedding photography specifically, is so important.
